About the Collective

Culpeper Artisan Collective in Culpeper, VA: A Creative Hub in a Historically Designated Town

Culpeper received its designation as a Main Street town in 1988 and was honored as one of America’s Top Ten Small Towns in 1993. The town is teeming with restaurants, shopping, and a variety of exciting activities, all nestled in the heart of Virginia.

In 2024, the Culpeper Artisan Collective (CAC) was established under the storefront JIMNI as a cooperative. Following the sale of JIMNI and a transition in business partnerships, CAC became solely owned by Kirsten Scannon on December 1, 2025. Kirsten, a talented mixed media and furniture artist who also operates Kirsten Scannon Creative, continues to spearhead this initiative.

Situated at 201 Waters Place, Suite 110, CAC presents a collective of artisans featuring a distinctive and eclectic range of locally crafted artworks, home décor, utensils, furnishings, and curated decor for every space, and much more.

In late 2025/early 2026, the Collective expanded to include a designated art and craft classroom and Nurture—a sensory experience at CAC.
